Database Contents
I initially created a walks database purely for my own purposes. I wanted a way to track the walks I'd done, where I'd walked, the hills I'd visited and the trig points I'd bagged. The list of walks soon expanded to include a hills database and a trig point database too. Even once I'd shared it to a public audience, I never really expected it to be of interest to anyone else, but it seems I was wrong. Based on my Google Analytics results, this is one of the most popular elements on my website.
Walks
The walks section of the database includes all the walks I have done (excluding local 'dog walks' and training bimbles). These are grouped by geographical region and by hill classification, as well as chronological list of all walks, grouped by year.

The hills section of the database looks at the walks I have done, from the perspective of the various UK hill classifications. This will help anyone looking for a walk that includes hlls within a specific hill list, for example the English Hewitts.

The trig points section of the database looks at the walks I have done that include one of the various types of triangulation artifacts used by the Ordnance Survey - it's not just pillars! This section has expanded to include a search feature too.
